Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 8, 2026

Pulling Together Reading is run by Karyn C. Potts. This page explains what information we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

When you sign up for the free placement readers, we collect your first name and email address. When you buy something, our store provider collects your name, email address, billing country and payment details. We never see or store your full card number.

We do not ask for, and do not want, any information about your child. Please do not send us your child’s name, age, school or any other detail about them.

Why we collect it

We use your first name and email address to send the free readers you asked for, reading tips, and news about new books. Your first name is only used to address the emails to you. We use purchase information to deliver what you bought, answer support questions, and meet our tax and accounting obligations.

Who else handles it

We use two companies to run this business, and your information passes through them:

systeme.io sends our emails and stores our mailing list.

Payhip runs our store and checkout, and collects and remits sales tax and VAT where required.

Each has its own privacy policy. We do not sell, rent or trade your information to anyone.

Children

This website is meant for parents, teachers and tutors, not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Cookies

Our store uses cookies to keep your cart working and to remember your choices. You can refuse them using the banner on the store, or turn them off in your browser.

Your choices

Unsubscribe. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and we stop.

See what we hold. Email us and we will tell you what we have about you.

Delete it. Email us and we will remove you from our list and delete what we hold, except records we must keep for tax purposes.

If you are in the UK, the EU or another place with data protection law, you have these rights under that law, and you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top.
